This months theme is : No Images Just Words
I loved this month’s theme of making a card without a stamped image and just words as it really made me think outside of the box, so to speak. Looking around my crafting space. I spied the items below – an embossing folder and my blending brushes and decided that these would work well for making a card without a stamped image.
I ran a piece of Basic White Card stock through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I just love the detail on this embossing folder as it gives a real deep impression – well it after all a 3D one..
Using only the ink that was on the brushes I ran the pink and blue brushes over the flowers and the green over the leaves. I didn’t add any extra ink – which I’m glad about really as I wouldn’t have a clue as to what colour ink I had used last on them.
To me the tones on the card lead me towards a thinking of you or a sympathy card. Bearing that in mind I added the sentiment, from the Unbounded Beauty set, which has a coordinating die set of frames. I look forward to creating more projects using this bundle.
