This week I have been nominated by my crafty friend Charlie to take part in The Creative Blog Hop.

For this weeks Masculine Monday’s  post I decided that I would share with you a masculine thinking of you card as I seem to make them on the feminine side.

I’ve used a mixture of both sponges and daubers, when you look closer at the card it gives an appearance of different textures, for the sand and the sea (not sure if it shows up here on the photograph).

So here goes the creative blog hop questions

• What are you working on now?

I am working on samples for my upcoming all day classes one of which will be aimed at cards for “men”, along with  samples for a big craft show in April too. So I’m mega busy at the moment luckily my scrapbook classes are planned

• How does your work differ from others in your genre?

Not sure that I am different from others…..lol  I can get bored very easily, so I like trying new techniques or just trying our new ways of using the things I already have.

• Why do you create what you do?

I create and share with others because it fills my soul, I love to show new people how to stamp or create scrapbook layouts and love when both old and new customers alike get that ah-ha moment and you hear a squeal of joy when they see what they have created. Then the joy that we all get when we send or receive a handmade card.

How does your creativity work?
I create in different ways sometimes when I get a new stamp set or papers, I will pull out ink and card stock and accessories and “play” away and make a real mess the more inky the better for me!!  Other times I’ll surf the net via Pinterest, Blogs or Splitcoast stampers  looking for inspiration. Most recently I have taken to do some sketch challenges which is fun, this week I used the card sketch for a scrapbook layout.

I hope you have enjoyed this little insight into my world, I’m would like to nominating  Pam  over in the states to continue this hop.

Be sure to pop back throughout the week to see other creations I’ve made using items from both the Annual and the Spring/Summer catalogues.

Happy Stampin’
