Welcome to July’s Colour Combo Blog Hop. I was so excited when I saw the colours of this month’s hop – as I just love these two blues together Night of Navy and the New Balmy Blue adding the Petal pink was a little more challenging but then it’s nice to come out of our comfort zones now and then.
Welcome if you’ve just joined me from Sandra’s and her lovely creations using this colour combo, hop back if you haven’t or just continue around the hop and complete the circle.
Here’s a collection of cards that I’ve made using the chosen colours, this first card uses stamps from both the Lift Me Up and Swirly Bird stamp sets.
It’s the first time that I had stamped up the kite but using the Stamparatus makes it dead easy.
For this card I’ve used the smaller scribble circles to create flowers using the Balmy Blue stamped off and added some leaves also stamped off in Mint Macaroon from the Foxy Friends stamp set.
And for my third card using the Balmy Blue ink and my Aqua Painters created a washed background for the little boat to sail on.
On this last card I again used the boat elements from the Swirly Bird stamps set and coordinating Thinlets – Swirly Scribbles to create the sea.
I hope you like my creations – all supplies used to created these cards can be ordered via my Online store here.
