As a kid I was always fascinated at how they managed to get the colour into the class and make the lovely stained glass patterns etc…………. well I decided that I would give it a go with one of my stamp sets and here is a card that I made using the Bordering On Romance  set.

To create the lead out line I stamped the image with Versamark and then heat embossed this very carefully on Stampin’ Up!s Vellum paper with their Black embossing powder.
Then using the Stampin’ Write Markers coloured the images from behind.  To emphasis the colours I then matted and layered this on a light cardstock before adhering them to the Basic Black Layer. I  then gently tore all three of these layers at the bottom before adding these to a layer of Pink Pirouette which I had run through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.
I had fun with this technique and will have to find some more time to play again using other sets.

Happy Stampin’
