Welcome to May’s Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog Hop.

The theme chosen for this month’s theme is “Goodbye” – a fitting theme as we’re coming to the end of  another annual catalogue. But I can’t wait to play with all the NEW goodies in the next one!!!

You may have joined me from Karen’s blog or perhaps you are starting you journey here with me, I hope that you like our creations and the they give you inspiration as you hop around the world.

For my “Goodbye” project I have created 2 scrapbook layouts from one sheet of the Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.

Having secured the Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper over a sheet of 12×12 Whisper White card stock with some Washi tape.

I started daubering the flowers and leaves with a variety of different colour inks – Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink, So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather and Lovely Lipstick.

When I was happy with the area that I wanted to cover with ink, I pulled back the Laser Cut paper and was amazed at the outcome on the 12×12 cardstock base.

I was even more surprised with the Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper the ink hadn’t gone underneath so I could have used the plain side but instead I chose to use the coloured side.

Depending on the base card stock I laid my coloured laser piece on the different colours “popped” on it.  I decided to stay with black as it suited my photograph more.

Having chosen my photographs I then added some Butterflies using the Butterfly Gala stamp set and coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch, with a little bit of Wink of Stella. On the larger butterflies on the white back ground I added antennas using some wire I had in my stash.

Don’t forget to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping on over to see what Pia has created using this months theme.
