Welcome to March’s Colour Combo Blog Hop of 2021, using the colours shown above – Mango Melody, Petal Pink and Terracotta Tile.
You may have just visited Elisabeth’s blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration with this months colours.
I find it hard to use these three colours but together now that was a REAL challenge… but then I noticed that one of the papers in the Ice Cream Corner DSP collection incorporates two of the colours so I set about using that .
Using a Terracotta Tile card base I added a strip of the DSP to the bottom and added a piece of Petal Pink stamped with the confetti, found in the Hey Birthday Chick stamp set. I then created a frame using the Layering Square Frames.
I stamped and die cut the “funky” haired chick and coloured it using Stampin’ Blends. I sparkled up the cake and the double layered sentiment using the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.
