Yesterday I went and met some lovely ladies in Abington, Cambridge – Yes I know that along way from me in Kent but I went to help out a fellow demonstrator Charlie (with whom I have become good friends with), as she’s recovering from an operation and didn’t want to let the ladies down that had booked her for a Scrapbookin’ Class.
So I am going to share with you the page that she designed for them (which I had also taught with my ladies) using the Soho Subway Designer Series Papers.
Here we scrunched up the papers and really distressed it with inks before stamping over it using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.
Did you notice the shinny splashes? these were made with Stampin’ Up!s Pewter Embossing powder.
I really enjoyed teaching this class both to my ladies and Charlie’s as it was very interesting to watch peoples reactions as they started to (as I call it) “got to love the paper”
