Welcome to August’s Ink & Share Scrapbook Blog hop this month months theme is
TRAVEL
You may have joined me from Dana’s blog or perhaps you are starting you journey here with me, I hope that you like our creations and the they give you inspiration as you hop around the world.
For me when I first saw this month’s theme, I knew exactly what photo’s I wanted to scrap. It was of my daughter when we went out for a drive at the beginning of “Lockdown” dropping of shopping for my uncle who was shielding.
Firstly I cut out a selection of cogs using the silver foil sheets and distress some of them with black ink, before inking the edges of my 12×12 Sea Spray base and randomly second generation stamping the ink splodges from the Geared Up Garage stamp set. I adhered some of these with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give some depth.
To remind of us of why and when this photograph was taken…. I added a section for some hidden journalling. Especially as she picked up her car just before lockdown and hadn’t really had chance to get out in it. As the roads where a lot quieter, it was the perfect time for her to gain some experience.
I hope you liked the scrapbook page I’ve shared with you – supplies used to created this, can be ordered via my Online store here.
Remember to use this months hostess code which can be found in the side bar, to receive a little something from me if your order is under £150.
