Welcome to October’s Colour Combo Blog Hop, using the colours shown above – Bermuda Bay, Mossy Meadow and Smokey Slate.
You may have just visited Elisabeth’s blog or perhaps you are starting your journey here with me. I hope you like our creations and that they give you inspiration with this months colours.
When I first saw this colour combination I immedialty thought of Christmas – not sure why though, especially as the I hadn’t seen the seasonal catalogue or played with any of the stamp sets.
I chose to use the Gnome For The Holidays stamp set. Having stamped the focal image of the tree in memento ink, I used the Stampin’ Blends both light and dark in all three colours as well as the Bermuda Bay watercolor pencil as I need one in a lighter shade
I then stamped two of the Gnome images on a scrap of whisper white cardstock, before colouring them in too, I then fussy cut them out using. Using only the tree image from the female Gnome.
Using one of the sentiments from the set and Bermuda Bay ink I added a sentiment to the bottom left of the card. To finish the card of I added some wink of stella to the lights and baubles.
I can’t wait to share with you my other creations, made with this stamp set for my upcoming online class with this stamp set.
I hope you like the card that I have shared with you using this month’s colours. Supplies used to create this can be ordered via my Online store here ,
Don’t forget to use this months hostess code, which can be found in the side bar to receive a little something for me if your order is under £150.
Please remember to leave me a comment below, before you continue hoping on over to see what Annette has created using this months colours.
Happy Stampin’
Sue
